Revision Owner´s engineering.

Owner’s Engineering (OE) is a figure typically engaged by Client that wants to rely on a top experienced engineering firm to take lead on a project execution. OE shall assure,-that the project is properly designed. The scope usually includes a detailed engineering review, construction and commissioning protocols. Additional to engineering, this activity is linked with supervision on site, during construction works, to when ACS engineering propose to supervise construction, planning, quality. As well as FAT supervision. These tasks can be complemented with project management activities. Sometimes the OE can join a project in a precedent phase, prior to EPC selection, providing consultancy services for the EPC tender and contract negotiation. Technical Due Diligence

A Technical Due Diligence (TDD) is designed to conduct a comprehensive project risk assessment for acquisitions, financing, or refinancing—whether for debt or equity. It identifies potential risks and provides recommendations for mitigation measures. Our Advisory Department has carried out numerous TDDs on renewable energy projects, giving us a deep understanding of key risks and how to address them.

The scope of a TDD typically includes evaluations of natural resources (such as solar and wind), energy production estimates, environmental impact assessments, permit evaluations, technical reviews of licenses and authorizations, asset lifespan analysis, and contract reviews (EPC, O&M, and PPA contracts). Each TDD can be tailored to the specific needs of a project.

For M&A transactions, the TDD process is similar but adapted to the project’s current status. For example, a TDD for a greenfield project will focus on different areas than one for an operational project. In some cases, the TDD can be supplemented with product due diligence (PDD) to provide a more comprehensive evaluation.

Feasibility Studie

A feasibility study, similar to a Technical Due Diligence (TDD), is typically requested at an earlier stage of project development to assess its technical and economic viability. The scope of a feasibility study is fully customized to meet the specific needs of the project and client. While it may share some content and scope with a TDD, the key difference is that a feasibility study focuses on optimizing and defining a project, whereas a TDD evaluates an already defined project.
