Assisting with tendering for land works design-build contracts

To assist in delivering engineering solutions to the Rail Civils department

To provide technical support to the senior and principal engineers

To provide guidance and assistance to apprentices and new graduates

You will work within project teams and will report to Project Managers

Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations • Ensure a safe working environment for all staff • Produce design documents which are cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification and which can be purchased, installed and commissioned effectively

Provides ongoing technical support for project activities within areas such as Operations, Maintenance, Testing/diagnostics, Regulatory, May provide field engineering oversight for activities such as commissioning, testing, inspections under direct supervision

Under the direction of a higher level engineer/supervisor, supports bid/evaluation processes by performing basic analysis and calculations on existing documentation and materials that support the preparation of bid documents

Lead detailed design for civil projects and coordinate calculations, reports, specifications and drawings

Prepare written proposals and reports for clients
